I am on track to become a multimedia journalist. I have learned how to inform through multiple platforms. I shoot, edit, write, direct and produce news stories. My desire is to become a broadcast journalist who compassionately tells stories.
I grew up in Oklahoma with the local news buzzing in the background and have always yearned to know the world and its people better. When deciding what career path to take, I decided to learn the world’s stories and share them to the best of my ability!
Throughout high school, I was involved with student leadership. In college, I continued my mission of being a positive image for my school and sorority chapter by engaging in community service, working for The Maroon and becoming a resident assistant.
My love of people and longing to positively impact the world lead me to where I am today: working towards my B.A. in Mass Communication at Loyola University New Orleans with a focus in journalism. I am also earning my minor in graphic design as I love creating visually pleasing content.
